Microsoft Fabric / Power BI Admin Engineer
Help keep our enterprise analytics platform secure, reliable and fast as our Microsoft Fabric/Power BI Admin Engineer. You’ll shape a service used by more than 25,000 colleagues.
You and your job
As a Microsoft Fabric/Power BI Admin Engineer, you make sure our enterprise analytics platform works smoothly, securely and at scale. You’ll manage the tenant, improve capacity performance, set clear workspace standards, automate recurring tasks and help teams resolve difficult issues. Thanks to your work, thousands of colleagues can create trusted insights on a platform that is easy to manage, compliant and ready for what comes next.
Practical examples
• Create monitoring that shows which data models, dataflows and refreshes use the most capacity.
• Turn usage, performance and cost information into practical improvements for the Fabric platform.
• Automate routine administration and deployments using PowerShell, REST APIs, Azure DevOps and YAML pipelines.
• Create dashboards and reports that give clear insight into how Fabric and Power Platform services are being used.

• Keep the Power BI and Microsoft Fabric environment well organized and secure, including settings, workspaces, access and platform-wide controls.
• Keep capacities healthy by tracking usage, solving bottlenecks and improving performance, reliability and value for money.
• Make day-to-day platform work simpler through automation, reliable deployment processes, APIs and clear guidance for teams.
You’ll also help shape the platform roadmap, maintain security and compliance, manage gateways and resolve incidents.

The Power Platform Squad looks after Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Apps and Power Automate, and helps teams use these services responsibly. You’ll join a technical, data-minded team and work closely with platform engineers, architects, security specialists and other stakeholders to turn business needs into dependable services.
You and your talent
• Hands-on experience managing Power BI in a large organization.
• A good understanding of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI Premium, including capacity, governance and performance.
• Experience with tenant settings, workspaces, gateways, security, monitoring and operational support.
• A practical mindset: you can turn complex platform problems into clear, lasting solutions.
• A collaborative approach and a willingness to share knowledge with engineers, architects, security specialists and business stakeholders.
• The confidence to take ownership, make progress independently and deliver improvements.
To be considered for this role, candidates must already be based in the Netherlands at the time of application.
