Recruiter Striive
Designer Digital Platform (AI Skills)
For a temporary period ending on 31 December 2026.
This role follows a hybrid working model, with employees generally expected to work from the office two days per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays).
The preferred working week is 36 hours.
At Rabobank, we're exploring how AI can strengthen the design profession by making proven design knowledge more accessible, reusable and actionable. As AI becomes part of the daily design workflow, we see an opportunity to standardise best practices, quality criteria and decision-making patterns in a way that helps designers work more consistently and effectively.
Within Chapter Design, we want to establish a centrally managed AI Skill library that enables designers to access trusted guidance for recurring activities such as design reviews, accessibility assessments, UX writing, design system alignment, design critique and handover preparation. Rather than replacing professional judgement, AI Skills should help designers make better-informed decisions, apply standards consistently and focus more time on creating high-quality experiences.
To help us realise this ambition, we're looking for an experienced designer who can combine design expertise, AI-supported workflows and knowledge management. You will help translate design knowledge into reusable AI Skills and create the foundations required to scale their adoption across Chapter Design.
Your role
As a designer for Digital Platform, you will work within the Platform team of Chapter Design to define, create and maintain a reusable AI Skill ecosystem for designers.
Your primary mission is to transform design standards, best practices and quality criteria into reusable AI Skills that guide, challenge and accelerate design work. You will help create a shared foundation for quality, consistency and efficiency across teams while ensuring designers remain responsible for final decisions and outcomes.
Your responsibilities
• Create a centralized structure and blueprint for Chapter-wide (AI) skills.
• Identify and analyse key knowledge sources, including designers, stakeholders, Figma files, implemented journeys and existing documentation.
• Translate existing design standards, review frameworks and best practices into reusable AI Skills.
• Develop and validate working examples of AI Skills, such as: UX Writing, Design Review, Accessibility Assessment, Design System Alignment, Developer Handover, Documentation
• Collaborate with designers, subject matter experts and stakeholders to capture and structure design knowledge.
Your talent
We are looking for someone who combines systems thinking, design expertise and practical experience applying AI within professional workflows. As AI is an emerging field, the most important thing is practical, hands-on knowledge and experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in UX design or design systems.
• Demonstrable experience working with AI-assisted workflows, prompt engineering, AI Skills or knowledge-based automation.
• Strong understanding of design systems, accessibility, UX writing and design quality practices.
• Experience documenting and structuring knowledge for broad organisational use.
• Ability to translate complex design processes into clear, actionable guidance.
• Strong facilitation skills and experience working with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
• Experience defining quality criteria, review frameworks and operational standards.
• A pragmatic mindset and the ability to balance innovation, governance and adoption.
Together we achieve more
You will be part of Chapter Design, the internal design department of Rabobank. We are a diverse and inclusive group of 100+ creative professionals, specialized in UX Design, Visual Design, Service Design, Strategy and Research. What binds us is a culture of curiosity, collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning. We have our own design studio in Utrecht with workshop spaces and all the tools you need to do your work. We offer multiple ways for you to become better at your craft and cultivate your ideas.
